The passing of Al Bell will be very hard for family and friends. I first met Al on the Northwood Little League Baseball Field when Griffen and Matt played together at the age of ten or eleven. From there we over the years, played golf together and the company I worked for, bought chemicals from Al's company for our products. Later on, I was fortunate to work a few years with Al selling chemicals after retirement. Al was without a doubt one of the nicest and greatest people I ever met. It was always an honor and privilege to call Al a friend and golf buddy. He will be missed by family, friends and anyone that ever had the honor of meeting him. To Carol Ann, Griffin, Libby, Mary Caroline and family, we are so sorry about Al and we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. John Rollins

To Carol Ann & the entire Bell family: I just want to thank you Carol Ann and John Lambert, for allowing us the opportunity to visit with Al during our lunches together in your home. It was an absolute blessing to be able to listen to Al describe his life journey and how his family and golf impacted his life. May peace be with all of you and thank you Al for allowing me into your heart…

Dear Carol Ann, Mary Caroline, and family, I’m so sorry about the loss of Al—husband, dad, and granddad. You loved him well, I know. The story I’ll remember most about him is Mary Caroline telling me of the sweet letters he used to write to you…I thought that was so special. I hope his words will bring you comfort and fond memories in the days to come. I’ll be praying for peace, strength, and comfort for all of you. With sympathy and love, Tamara

I have the fondest memories of sweet Mr. Al who really did ask me if we were still buddies every time I saw him! He took me to my very first Georgia football game with Griffin when we were so young. I am still cheering on the Dawgs to this day. Barney and I send our condolences and love to all of the Bell family. We love you!
