I missed her funeral ,I just found out today, I am so sorry, she was the sweetest nice person.
Alice Ann was a kind, loving, and beautiful person. She will be missed by many. Family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
Alice Ann was a wonderful, wonderful friend. I taught with her at Sirrine, Laurel Creek, and Mauldin Elementary. I learned so very much from her as a teacher. She was a great example to so many people as a great teacher and Christian. I’m so glad we met in this life but we will meet again!
Her picture says it all. Welcoming-smiling-gentle soul. I loved hearing her stories of Grandmother and Granddaddy Smith.
AliceAnn, such a beautiful, kind woman. I know she will be missed by so many.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Rest in the Lord Alice Ann after a lifetime of service to Him! I served with Alice Ann at Santa Rosa Christian School in the 1970’s and the early 8o’s. A finer teacher I did not know and such a good example to this new teacher who taught 4th grade for my first teaching adventure. Her quiet nature was a reflection of her classroom for one never heard a peep out of Miss Smith,’s class! Her reward awaits her in heaven when that time comes!
Gerald, thinking of you and your family at this time.
What a wonderful lady and sweet friend Alice Ann was… I was privileged to have taught school with her for many years and she was absolutely an outstanding teacher…
My heart goes out to her family..May God’s strength give each of you peace, strength and comfort…???
Miss Smith was my 5th grade teacher at Santa Rosa Christian School (many years ago), and thankfully we were able to reconnect via Facebook. She was the sweetest lady and a wonderful teacher. I can remember things about her class like it was yesterday. Miss Smith always had a kind word and will be dearly missed.
42 years ago, Miss Smith was my 5th grade teacher at Santa Rosa Christian. She was one of the most influential teachers of my life. I enjoyed hearing her tell a Bible story. She also knew what motivated children to do their best and she made me want to excel. I decided that I wanted to be an accountant in her class while working on my autobiography for writing. She still encouraged me as a homeschooling mom 40 years later. I'm very grateful for Miss Smith.
I worked with Alice Ann at Laurel Creek Elementary. I was always very fond of her and appreciated very much the way she worked with her students. My condolences to all family and friends.

Alice Ann was a dear, dear neighbor. My husband and I were fortunate to live on the same street and to get to know her. She was gracious, helpful and kind. We will miss her. Joe and June Yanick
Alice Ann Smith, was one of the best teachers, I had the experience working with and knowing for over 30 years. She never raised her voice and could motivate any student to excel. She was one of the most sincere, kind, and sweet ladies ever? she will truly be missed.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
