Ann Reeves Weisner, 84, beloved wife of Charles Jerry Weisner, Sr. of Piedmont, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Born on the 4th of July in Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late Dock Hester and Essie Lee (Brown) Reeves.
Mrs. Weisner was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 58 years and Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, Trinity Campus. Ann served as Secretary of her Sunday school class, volunteered at Trinity Retreat Center and Samaratin House, and was the first to sign up for clean-up day at her church.
Those left to treasure her memories include her husband of 65 years, Charles Jerry Weisner, Sr.; a son, Charles “Chad” Jerry Weisner, Jr. and his wife Traci; a daughter Teresa Roche and her husband Will; two brothers, J. Daniel “Dan” (Carolyn) Reeves and Wayne Reeves; three grandchildren, John “Jake” Eidson and his wife Haley Edison, Anna Lord and her husband Dylan Lord, and Charles “Charlie” Jerry Weisner III; and three great-grandchildren, Sadie, Sully, and Sawyer Eidson.
Ann also leaves a host of many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially her niece, Wanda Williams, great-niece, Christy Batson, and nephew, David Reeves.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 15 siblings.
A public viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:15 PM at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church – Trinity Campus, 2703 Augusta Rd., Greenville, with a funeral service following at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, Piedmont.
