Annette Coker Brown, formerly of 11 Duke Street, died Sunday July 25, 2004 at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center. Born in Gray Court she was the daughter of the late Timothy Otis and Kizzie Dunn Coker and the widow of James E. Brown, Jr. Mrs. Brown retired from Franklin Dyed Yarn after 73 years and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Price and her husband Stewart of Easley, Ann Griggs and her husband Raymond of Powdersville; eight grandchildren, Dianna Brown Perrotto, Melinda Beach and her husband Jim, Angela Brown Cook, Cheryl Voogd and her husband Erik, Ray Griggs, Jr and his wife Elizabeth, Sarah Brown Curzon and her husband Kevin, Janet L. Brashier, and Todd Griggs. She was predeceased by a son, James E. Brown, III. Visitation will be Tuesday July 27, 2004 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be Wednesday July 28, 2004 at 10:30 am in the chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at their respective homes.
