ArchAnna McLellan Steadham, 60, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of Ann Rogers McLellan and the late Henslee “Bill” Clifford McLellan.
In her mother’s words, ArchAnna was “a rebel, a trip, and above all, my joy!” and all who knew her shared that sentiment. She loved her family immensely, and always full of jokes and joy, was the one who provided laughter and fun any time they were all together.
Those who has the pleasure of calling ArchAnna their friend were told right away to call her “Archie.” Whether you met her as a child or an adult, her friendship would be everlasting. Even when she wasn’t physically close to share a “big ole hug” she was always there with a phone call or text to make you laugh and remind you of her love.
ArchAnna was passionate about taking care of those less fortunate. To honor her many hours of community service, memorials may be made to Jaycee Camp Hope, 415 Charlie White Trail, Pendleton, SC 29670; or to The Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Rd, Greenville, SC 29607.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, William Albert “Bill” and Clifford Rogers McLellan; sister, Kathryn S. “Suzy” Cato; step-grandchildren, Quinn and Carson; many adored nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog children, LuLu and Ace. ArchAnna also leaves behind loving members of the Steadham Family.
In addition to her father, ArchAnna was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Steadham.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown. The memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 1st at 2:00 p.m. at Pendleton Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow.
