Thinking throughout the day about Barbara as the service for her was held. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all of you. As I remember Barbara I think mostly of her grace, kindness and genuine beauty. Favorite memories are in Granny’s kitchen. She and Aunt Ruth always gave up their chair to all the other women making sure we all had enough pasta, coffee, cake, cookies and more. Her true caring, loving way will remain in my heart. May you find comfort and peace in the days ahead. Love, Michele

As a nerdy young person, Barbara was always my older, glamorous cousin. She was beautiful, her hair was always perfect, her makeup, clothes, everything. When Granny was babysitting me I would often watch Barbara getting ready to go out and we would chat. She gave me my first pop 45s, introduced me to the Beatles and also to West Side Story, which is my favorite musical to this day. She had such an impact on my life, and I will always be grateful.
