Barbara served with us on the Forever Young Seniors decoration committee. She was always ready to extend a hug, a kind word & a ready smile to whoever she met. Her smiling face & exuberant laugh will be greatly missed!!! RIP sweet sister & friend. With love always.

I have wonderful memories of Barbara…her laughter & her smile were contagious. I will always remember her blue eyes sparkling when she spoke and our hilarious beach trip together with the seniors from church. She will be missed but I know I will see her again one day in heaven with our Father. Praying for the family during this difficult time. 🙏🏼

Barbara has been a part of our Women of Faith Sunday School Class at Clearview Baptist Church for the past year that I have been privileged to be the teacher. She has been a blessing to us and I treasure her friendship. About a month ago, I visited her and took vegetable soup, cornbread, and cake. We ate together and then she wanted to watch the Nightly News with Lester Holt. When the sports came on she told me about her son, Steve, playing football in high school and how she and her husband were always on the sidelines to watch him play. She had so much love in her heart for Steve and he has been so faithful since her recent sickness to come and take care of her at home and in the hospital. She loved her home and friends who lived nearby. I feel privileged to have known her. Hazel Poston

My heart is broken and my prayers are for you and your family Steve. I loved your mom like my own, she was a very special lady in my life. So fun and loving and treated us all like her own. I loved every minute I was able to be around her. She will be missed greatly, but never forgotten.
