I first met Bernd in 1968 when I visited the SEL Tantalum Capacitor plant in Nurnberg. I was from the STC Tantalum capacitor plant in the Uk and at that time we were each part of the Worldwide ITT corporation.
We became very good friends and our families visited each other on a number of occasions and remained so over all these years despite living in different parts of the World. Margaret and I offer our sincere condolences to all the family at this very sad time and we will always remember Bernd with much affection.
