Bernice Ann Cochran, 78, of Greenville, wife of the late Jack Cochran, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Born in Glasgow, VA, she was a daughter of the late Joe Henson and Vergie White.
Bernice enjoyed life to the fullest. She would get so excited playing the lottery and bingo. In her spare time, she loved to read, garden and canning. But, for Bernice, her greatest enjoyment and love came from her family and the time spent with them.
She is survived by daughters, Sandra Henry, Lisa Phillips (Kevin), and Denise Boiter (George); sons, Joey Durham (Hope) and Tim Crawford (Aubrey); grandchildren, Terry Crawford, David White, Crystal Jordan, Melissa Henry, David Lindsey, Dustin Snow, Alisha Holder, Justin Phillips, Courtney Boiter, Kelsea Boiter, and Kandace Crawford; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Janie Bowling, Wanda Wiseman, and Delores St. Clair; multiple nieces and nephews; dear friends, Kheir and Peggy Jafari; and long time friends, Alice and Bessie; and fur baby, Cammie.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years in June, Jack Cochran; and daughter, Sherene Green.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Greenville Memorial Gardens.
