Betty Beryle Floyd, 93, of Greenville, beloved wife of the late John Floyd, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
Born in Pickens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Minnie Porter Massey.
Betty’s life was defined by her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her family brought her immeasurable joy throughout her life.
Betty’s sweet and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be remembered not only for her love but also for her strength, resilience, and unwavering faith. Betty was loved beyond measure, her legacy of love, compassion, and faith will continue to carry on through her loved ones.
She is survived by daughters, Sharon Forest (Tony) and Theresa Echols (Wayne); five grandsons; many beloved great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; one great-great grandson; twin sisters, Jane Shirley and Judy McCallister; sister, Ann Kurths; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest Chapel.
