Betty Joan Hooker, 75, beloved wife of 58 years to Thomas Hooker, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Josie Cooper Hall.
Betty was a loving wife mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a Godly woman who was strong in her faith and loved animals. Singing, dancing, and cutting up with her family was how she spent most of her time and she greatly enjoyed doing so.
In addition to her loving husband, Thomas, she is survived by daughter, Tina (Ronnie); sons, Troy (Angie) Hooker, and Tommy (Kim) Hooker; grandchildren, Shane (Tonya), Casey (Jason), Johnathan, Dynesty, Taylor, Jaylen, KK, Landen, Brandon, Dallas, McKenna, Camden, Chris (Jessica), Josh (Cassidy), Rex (Lindsay), Alex, Tiffany (Chad), Kevin, Kaitlyn; great grandchildren, Kelsee, Camden, Carter, Rhyatt, Brady, Avery, Vanessa, Casin, and Ava; great great grandchild, Meadow; and siblings, Lawrence, Ronnie, Sara, Martha, and Patricia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Timothy, who sadly passed away 35 years ago, and siblings, Billie, Willie, Charlie, and Jimmy.
A visitation will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with the memorial service to follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Northwest Chapel.
