Billie Katherine Turner Farr, 82, of Greenville, beloved wife of the late Harry Emmett Farr, died Saturday, May 21, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Maude Bridges Turner, Jr.

Billie Katherine was a member of Berea First Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking for everyone. She had a contagious laugh and loved going to the beach.

She is survived by daughter, Valerie Flynn; son, Emmett Farr, Jr. (Shannon); grandchildren, Lauren Capelli, Dakota Flynn, Natalie Farr, and Tiffany Littlefield; and great grandchildren, Cillian, Halen, Alivia, and Knox.

In addition to her loving husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by great granddaughter, Copeland Capelli; brother, Jerry L. Turner, Sr.; and son-in-law, Terry Flynn.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Berea First Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Berea First Baptist Church 529 Farrs Bridge Rd, Greenville, SC 29611, www.bereafbc.org.

I am so sad to hear this. Billie invited me over several times and always included me on large family get reunions. We sat around and laughed so much . Billie and ‘Em were so kind to me and allowed me to be part of the family. Great memories.

So many memories with Billie. Lot of good times. So will be missed. Love Barbara Jane.
