Billy Malcombe Wyatt, age 96, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2023.
He was the son of the late Ted Wyatt and Etta Norris Wyatt and one of five children.
Mr. Wyatt was born in Greenville, South Carolina and graduated from Parker High School. As a WWII Veteran, Mr. Wyatt served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Vesole.
He later was employed by Huntington and Guerry and the JP Stevens, Monaghan Plant where he retired as a master electrician. Mr. Wyatt was a long-time member of Dunean Baptist Church, where he volunteered weekly.
Mr. Wyatt is survived by his sister, Patsy W. Allen; brother in law, William R. Rogers. He was the beloved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews and maintained a close and nurturing relationship with his niece and caregiver, Jane R. Mills, and nephew, Andy Rogers.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his wife of 62 years, Edna Rogers Wyatt, and his three brothers, Ansel Wyatt, John C. Wyatt, and Bobby Wyatt.
The family will gather on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. for a graveside service, officiated by Pastor Calvin Holland, at the Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery.
