Blanche Jeannette “Janet” Head, 74, wife of the late Larren Luther Head, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Born in Clinton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Mae Covan Bush.

Janet was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She worked for the Greenville County School District and was a supervisor at the Church Street K-mart for many years.

Left to cherish her memory are two children, Linda Denise Palmer and Kevin Head; three grandchildren, Caitlin Harris, Max Palmer, and Joe Palmer; four great-grandchildren, Maverick Harris, Finnegan Harris, Barrett Harris, and Kennedi Palmer; and a step-brother, Charles Bush.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery West.
