Blayne Martin Niemela, a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend passed away and went home to his Heavenly Father on July 12th, 2022.
He leaves behind his father, Curt Niemela, mother, Millie Niemela, siblings, Victoria Niemela, Eero Niemela, Lily Niemela, and Serrell Niemela, nieces, Erica Blair Danesi and Aulora Lillian Kingstro, and a host of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wally Niemela, Elna Niemela, Barbara Seppala, Martin Seppala and other dearly loved ones.
Blayne’s life began in Hancock, Michigan and he spent the majority of his years in Greer, South Carolina. Blayne was unlike any other. From a young age, Blayne expressed himself in laughter, witty phrases, and a perfectly inserted song. He loved his family and friends. He was hard-working and energetic, whose witty remarks brought laughter and wisdom.
Blayne saw the best in everyone and only spoke well of others. Above all, Blayne loved his Savior Jesus, and that shone through in all things. He will be missed. Words fail us now, but you will find him in a song.
A celebration of Blayne’s life will be held this Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church, with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m.
