Bobby Wilson Seay, 80, of Greenville, beloved husband of the late Jaqueline Seay, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Wilson and Irene Messer Seay.
Bob proudly retired from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after 26 years of service. He was an active member of Clearview Baptist Church where he served in the children’s ministry. Previously he was a volunteer with the Monaghan Baptist Church Food Ministry, a volunteer firefighter in Sunrise Beach, Texas, and a school bus driver in Marble Falls, Texas. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by daughters, Cristal Sims (Dan) and Starie Seay; step sons, John Stepp (Nestle) and Tim Stepp (Andrea); ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Brown (Jimmy) of Aston, PA; special friend, Judy Stepp, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his daughters, Joyce Seay; brothers, Franklin Seay and Eugene Seay; and sister, Sarah Phillips.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
