Boyce Truman Hyder, 72, died March 25, 2022, after several years of declining health.
He was the son of the late James King Hyder and Lonie Etta Clark Hyder. Mr. Hyder worked for Parker Sewer & Fire District for many years and at the American Industrial Park. He was a jack of all trades.
Surviving are his two daughters, Shelia Lancaster (Jeff), Kendria Bryant (Randy); one son, BJ Hyder (Ashley); four grandsons, Jake Lancaster (Carly), Travis Lancaster (Christen), Kashton Bryant, and Hudson Hyder. Also, his ex-wife, Misty Marlow, his dear and special friend; and loving step daughter Amber Norton.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his six brothers, George, Paul, Sam, and Wade Hyder, and JB Clark and Frank Clark; and one sister, Thelma Helton.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest.
