I knew Carlos since 1992. We were friends and shared good and bad times. We always talked about everything and anything with great respect for each other even thouhg we could’t be more different and approached things from such opposite views. I’ll miss our talks and laughs. I’ll miss him. My love to his family and friends.

There are no words sufficient enough to express how sorry I am for your loss of Carlos. Heartbroken and shocked from the news. Your words here are such a wonderful tribute to him and your relationship. Although my interactions were short during our annual holiday parties, Carlos and you always made everyone feel welcome in the home that you made together. Continuing to pray for you and your family through this indescribably difficult time.

Paisita, mi hermano no puedo creer q se nos haya ido. Paisita, my brother I can’t believe you are gone. Christine and family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I met el Paisa in Bogota, in our teen years through a great friend of ours, Raul Mateus. We didn’t live far from each other and used to hang out together a lot and played soccer as much as we could. He was an excellent goalkeeper and an awesome friend and teammate. He was always happy and we used to joke around a lot. I moved to NC and lost contact with him until one day, out of the blue, he contacted me through Facebook and told me was living in Ocala and alter on he let me know he was moving to Greenville. He knew I was in Raleigh, NC and wanted to see if we could meet sometime. We talked about getting together and over the years we talked about it but never did it and I really regret not making the trip to see him. He always messaged me on my birthday and talking to him when he was on the road was like we just had seen each other. He was a great guy and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace paisita. Descanse en paz viejo Paisa.

My deepest condolences to Christine and her/his entire family, and to my dear friend Paisa, all that's left for me to say is that, I've known you since we were children, we share wonderful moments, and I will always admired how positive and joyful you were. I admired your way of approaching life and how much you treasured the old good moments. You made the songs of Sabina your own, and your jokes never failed to make us laugh. Your passion for soccer, your deep love for your family and the country of your birth – these are things I will always remember. Even though you have left us, you will forever remain in my heart.

I met Carlos while working. He was so kind, sweet, and loved a Peach bourbon wing ?. He always had encouraging words for my mother and my businesses and always supported. Him no longer being earth-side truly breaks my heart, but his transition is embraced knowing he's in a better place. He'll always be one of my guys. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
