When I first met Carol, she was a student at Pitt. She seemed to enjoy time with her friends as well as time with her family. At family dinners she would counter her uncle’s flippant comments with logic. I admired her ability to hold her head up as she battled through illnesses. I will remember her smile and her laugh. I shared many afternoons with Carol as we watched our kids grow up as best friends in Penn Hills. Carol was a devoted mom and a caring friend. So many memories of those happy times spent. My sympathy to Bob, Stephen and Jeff.

She had so much more living to do.
