Carolyn Elaine Yonce

Carolyn Elaine Yonce, 71, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Furman and Mary Lou Reid Pace.

Carolyn was of Baptist faith, and loved flowers and hummingbirds. She also enjoyed singing, music and dancing. She liked to travel to the beach and the mountains.

She is survived by her significant other of 28 years, Jerry Wooten; sons, Michael Yonce (Angie), and Steven Wooten; daughter, Tracy Klarman; sisters, Mary Ann Hopper, Brenda Mote (Terry), Shirley Black (Claude), and Janice Mainegra; five grandchildren, Michelle, Austin (Jennifer), Seth, Anthony, and Kevin; and eight great grandchildren Jaden, Jeremiah, Collin, Myah, Hayden, Izzy, Josie, and Gavin.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy, Jack and Ronnie Pace; and sister-in-law, Gail Pace.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest followed by the Graveside Service at 1:30 p.m.. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery West.
