Charles Harvey Taylor III

Charles Harvey Taylor III, 85, of Taylors, husband of Marianne Miles Taylor, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017.

Born in Walt Hill, Nebraska he was the son of the late Charles Harvey Taylor, Jr. and Nora Lillian Page Taylor.

Charles served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was the Past Master of International City Masonic Lodge #389 and Cherry Pointe Masonic Lodge #688. He was of the Methodist faith and worked for the California State Bureau of Investigation as a Senior Investigator. Charles enjoyed fishing, shooting, and being outdoors.

In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, he is survived by four children Theresa Margaret Taylor Mayes (Bob), Sarah Linn Taylor Willis, John Miles Taylor, and Robert Val Taylor; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 105 Lovett Dr., Greenville, SC 29607.
