Cheryl Darlene McGill, 77, wife of J.C. McGill, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023.

Born in Lavonia, GA, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Sybil Vaughn Moncrief.

Mrs. McGill was a member of Beech Springs Church in Pelzer, SC.

As well as her husband of 58 years, she is survived by son, Kerry McGill; granddaughter, Alexandria Duckett (Mike); grandson, Colin McGill; great granddaughter, Peyton Duckett; and great grandson, Porter Duckett.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Moncrief.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Beech Springs Church located at 125 Cooley Bridge Rd., Pelzer, SC 29669.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beech Springs Church.

I'm going to miss Aunt Cheryl . If I was missing dad I could always call her and she would make me feel better. I really am going to miss our talks. One day we will see them all again and what a day that will be. Always here for you. Love you and Kerry bunches.

My memory of “mom” was taking me in and allowing me to be part of her family. It burned an image of how we should treat folks. This news breaks my heart but heaven aging a truly beautiful soul! Our loss their gain. Thoughts and prayers!
