I remember Cheryl from Fellowship Baptist. My husband David played the piano and Cheryl played the organ. In all the years I knew Cheryl never once did I see her frown, she was always smiling! I have no doubt that the organ and piano are being played in Heaven right now!! My prayers are with her family.
My Most Sincere Condolences to the Families. Heavenly Father keep her his Glory.Cheryl was a friendly and lovable person. She would go next door and we would chat. And she love my cooking 😊she will be missed, she was always smiling.
When Cheryl sang at East Park during my growing up years, it was always a special event. Her voice and her spirit always touched the hearts of the people who witnessed her gift of singing. As I was studying for the ministry, East Park invited me to preach one Sunday evening. My message was on the second coming of Christ. Cheryl was kind enough to sing "The King is Coming" before I preached. Her family has always been very special to the Vaughans. We thank God for her life and her witness.
I am so saddened to learn of Cheryl’s passing. We grew up as neighbors and also church family. I was in their wedding and have so many cherished memories of us together growing up. I am so sorry I was not able to attend her service. My deepest condolences to Bill, Sherry, Brian and the entire family. She is now a member of the Heavenly Choir and oh how I loved to hear her sing. May God give you all peace and comfort during these days, love to your precious family!!
Bill, Sherry, Brian, and families, I am so sorry for your loss. Cheryl was a special person. I appreciated the times that she called to check on me after Ken’s passing. I know that she will be missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Brother Bill, Sherry, Brian and Family. You are being lifted up in heart, thought and prayer during this time of transition in the "graduation" of your Mom, Sister Cheryl who is a member of the class of 2021. This is not good bye for us believers, just simply farewell for now, will meet you in heaven! May God's grace, love, mercy, peace, and joy fill your hearts and minds as well until we arrive home. 😌🙏♥️🙌
I will miss my sweet neighbor and her visits. she was a sweetheart! Rest In Peace Cheryl our time knowing each other was short but I will cherish the memories, I remember the last time you come over and enjoy the Flan I made. ❤️ Lina
Sherry, Brian and Families, it grieved our hearts to hear about your Mama, but, knowing that she is with JESUS helps to take the sting of death away. We haven't seen Bill and Cheryl in a long time, but still considered them some of our best friends. The memories we made at Fellowship Baptist Church have never left our hearts and minds and those years serving our Lord with them were some of the best of our lives. Please know we love you all and are praying that "the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Ken and Linda Whitt (Mr. and Mrs. Whitt)
Bill and family, We were very sad to hear of Cheryl’s passing. Know that you are in our prayers. Buddy and Karen Haley
So sorry to hear about the passing of your momma. Glad that she is now much better off in heaven, reunited with loved ones. So many memories from our childhood, could keep us laughing for hours. May God bless and help all of y'all through this difficult time.
I am Cheryl’s first cousin. Diane and are so very sorry at Cheryl’s passing and offer our deepest and heartfelt sympathy. For nearly 60 years Cheryl and Bill faithfully attended our Carroll family reunion here in Barnwell county. She was a beautiful woman in so many ways and it was always a pleasure being in her presence. Tim and Diane Givens…[email protected]
It was my distinct honor and privilege to be Mrs. Cheryl's pastor. From the first time I met her and Br. Bill, I knew they were precious saints and had a genuine love for the Lord and His Church. Their music was always a blessing! My wife and I enjoyed many happy times with them and we will treasure those memories. Our prayers continue for Br. Bill and his health, as well as for Brian, Sherry, and all the family. Indeed, earth's loss is heaven's gain! May God's comfort and grace envelope all of her family and friends today and in the days ahead.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
