Thankful for knowing Chet & Margie in Alabama some 60 years ago and their impact on my walk with the Lord since then. Lovely music & memorial tribute to him on the website.

My husband, John & I met Chet & Marjorie at Senior Action some years ago & always loved talking w/them?. John worked for GM & Chet for Ford & often they would “talk” together at SA & Marjorie & I would say to each other” I wonder what they’re talking about”…. I know, Chet will be missed by all who knew him but he’s been welcomed into our Lord’s arms & what better place could he be?‼️??
J. L.Liverett left a message on July 21, 2021:
One of Chet's sayings was that a friend was worth more than riches. Shirley and I were certainly enriched by his and Marjorie's friendship.
Connie Liverett left a message on July 19, 2021:
Blessings and comfort to the entire Earwood family. What a quiet warrior for the Lord. A great Sunday school teacher and friend to my family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Maureen Harris left a message on July 19, 2021:
My heart goes out to Marjorie and family with the loss of a special man. I had the pleasure to meet Chet thru our local ALZ Connections group. I will never forget watching him work a project or puzzle with the assistance of Marjorie who will miss her beloved spouse in the days, weeks, and months to come. She was always always by Chet's side to offer her assistance no matter the request. Bless this wonderful man as he rests in heaven and no more effects of dementia to enter his daily life. Time to let the Lord take over in his blessed way.
Pam Burcham Pratt left a message on July 19, 2021:
Mrs. Earwood: I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband. What an amazing length of time you two have lived together! I pray God’s peace and comfort for you and your family.
Richard Riley left a message on July 19, 2021:
My prayers are with the family in their loss. I worked with Chet at Ford and also in the credit union where he at every place and at all times exemplified his faith in Christ. I have so many wonderful memories that I will ever cherish, not just of Chet but also of Marjorie and the family, One day we will have a reunion at His feet!
Donna Burcham Sego left a message on July 18, 2021:
Mrs. Earwood and family, I was sad to see Mr. Earwood’s obituary in the Florence Times today. I was always thought of him as a gentle giant of the faith. God bless you all, Donna Burcham Sego

We thank the Lord for the privilege of having known Chester Earwood, his wife, Marjorie, all of their children, and many of their grandchildren. We share in your earthly loss, but rejoice that he is with his Saviour, whom he loved and served so well. Chester was one of the choicest of God's servants that my wife and I have ever known and worked with in the service of the Lord. I was impressed with his spiritual discernment and common sense the first time I talked with him on the phone almost thirty years ago as we were looking to come to Muscle Shoals, AL to pastor. I remember with great joy the fellowship of the gospel we enjoyed as we made visits together in the community. He had a genuine love for souls. He also had a deep love for the Word of God. Not only did he attentively listen to my messages and teaching, but he would discuss the theological points with me later afterwards, even years later. When moving to Greenville, he told me one of the things he was looking forward to was having more time to study the Scriptures as he would not have a house and yard to take care of. Now he knows face to face the God and Saviour he love so much. May God provide you grace and comfort in the days ahead.
Missionary/Pastor John G White left a message on July 18, 2021:
One of our very best friends, Chet has gone on to be with the Lord and those relatives and friends who are already there. We thank God for having known and fellowshipped with he and Marjorie for nearly sixty years. His help and support in the very early years of our church planting in Alabama was always been a source of encouragement. We look forward to seeing him soon. We pray the Lords blessings upon Marjorie and the entire family this time. -Gold Coast Australia-

We were blessed to meet personally Chet and Marjorie last summer. We knew them from correspondence, but what a treasure to meet them in person. May the Lord bring to mind sweet memories to treasure and to pass along to the next generations. Our prayers are with each of you. Looking to Jesus, Keith and Celia Lieb Barrett
Harold Brandeberry left a message on July 16, 2021:
Dear family in Christ, we weep not as others weep who have lost their loved one, for we have not lost our precious brother. Tonight, and forever more he is with the King, and he is well. Our brother is more alive, more energetic, and more joyful than he has ever been before, and tonight he feasts with King Jesus. May the Lord comfort you all with His precious promises.
Ed Patterson left a message on July 16, 2021:
