Christina Jean Whitmire Glass, 51, wife of Jimmy Glass, died Monday December 27, 2021.

Born in Battle Creek, MI, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Whitmire.

Christina was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and was employed by Hexagon PPM. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and designed glassware in her spare time. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Lanie Glass; father and mother-in-law, James Sr. and Gerry Glass; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Ashley Glass.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Saturday January 8, 2022 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.

Family and friends who are unable to attend the service can view the Live Stream by clicking on the “Watch Livestream” button located on the main obituary page.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 201 N. Main Street, Greer, SC 29650.

She was a wonderful colleague, incredibly knowledgeable, hard-working, and always a huge help to me and our projects - especially when she could have easily and within her rights told me to leave her alone! It has been said that if you want to get something done, ask a busy person. Christina was never so busy that she would not stop and help if I needed it. Christina has left us for her next life and I selfishly wish she were still with us; a great, great lady.

Christina was an amazing woman. She was friendly, caring and a selfless woman. She would do anything for anyone. She was talented and loving with everyone. She will be missed greatly.

Christina, I will always remember your smile. I will always remember how often you were there to help. Always willing and open. I know you'll still be watching, with your smile.

I was not sure if my first message went through, so I apologize if there are two .......... My heart is aching so much. I worked with Christina for 16 years. I was in contact with her at least once a week discussing incorrect license keys and then ending it with something fun. I will so miss our conversations. God Bless her family.

Christina was such a caring woman. I will miss her interaction and insights going forward. Our continued prayers for her family.
