Christine Cranford Huffman, 90, wife of the late Garland Huffman, died Thursday, November 12, 2020.
Born in Winston Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Margaret Litaker Cranford.
Mrs. Huffman was a member of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church and attended UNC-G when it was Womens’ College Greensboro.
She is survived by sons, Frank Huffman, and Dr. John Huffman and his wife, Robyn; brother, George Cranford; sister, Nancy Cranford Purcell; grandchildren, Wendy (Nick), Shane (Cassie), and Michael Huffman; four great-grandchildren; and caregiver, Regina Green.
Although there will be no formal visitation, friends are welcome to view and leave notes of condolences for the family on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown.
A service to celebrate Christine’s life will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown Chapel. Seating is limited to allow for social distancing and those in attendance are required to wear a mask. A private family burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Huffman’s honor by donating to a charity of your choice.
