Clarence James Collier, 92, greeted his Heavenly Father on September 21st, 2023.
Although he raised a family with his beloved wife Wanda, son Michael and daughter Karen in North Carolina, and followed the Lord’s calling with Wanda to Montana for ten years of missionary work, he always considered himself a true Tennessean, being born in Knoxville on June 15th, 1931.
Love and marriage added daughter-in-law, Kathy and grandchildren, Erin and Jared to his family. Grand-daughter-in-law, Allison, along with Rhianna, his first great-grandchild, and great-grandsons, Josiah and Liam completed the Collier clan.
After Wanda’s passing, Clarence was blessed again by reconnecting with former love, Bobbi Shell, making her a part of his life until her death in 2018.
Clarence loved and cherished his family, but his greatest accomplishment was accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior and devoting his life to serving his Lord.
A private family gathering will be held in West Jefferson, NC.
