Prayers for you family. Such a tremendous loss to this world. For decades Mr. Mrs Stewart displayed the example to thousands of us children of what true servants of Christ looked like and we will never forget it . I know Robert will be so glad to be reunited with his Papa. Prayers n love for you all!

I've attended tabernacle with my mom, Ms. Elaine Shortt, the past several years every time I go to visit her. She and Ms. Spivey used to sit right behind him. There's always been a light around him and I always looked forward to seeing him. He's one of my very favorite s. Gentle, kind soul and I will miss him dearly! No doubt that he's with dear Jesus, rejoicing and pain free! ? I love you, Mr. Stewart. Love your friend, Kimberly

On special occasions throughout life, do you cross paths with someone whom will leave footprints in the sands of time, especially when your just a young boy. I had such a special occasion when I was twelve, 1976, when Dad and I moved to Greenville SC. Having gone to Church, School, Bible College, being at Tabernacle Baptist School and Church 6 days a week, it was certain that I was going to see this man, “as he was probably there 7 days a week,” and our paths cross! I was always amazed at how genuine, caring, considerate, faithful, true, humble, he was, and would continue to be! When I say footprints ?, he was Gods footprints ? left by a man. As I follow those footprints ? they lead straight to Heaven, as of just a few days ago! He was indeed a pathway that is so many times mentioned in Gods Word, “The Bible!” Never do you realize just how much worth or definition lie in a man, than at the end of his footprints ? in the sand! His were priceless beyond measure, and indeed worth mentioning! Sealed always in my memory, until that day I reach Home, and see where they continue! ? ? ?️ I stand on the sands of time, amazed, and thankful! Thank You Lord, for raising such a prime example! ?My deepest condolences and assurance of Blessed Hope! ? ?️

Dear Stewart Family, I have known Mr. Stewart since I was 10 years old when our family joined Tabernacle many years back.... and he was one of the first to actually give us a tour of the church facilities. I cannot express words to you all how we all felt about Mr. Stewart. (HE WAS ALWAYS THERE!) and would do anything for you! Love Mr. Stewart! He always reminded me of my Daddy who is Heaven as well. Heaven is much sweeter! With much sympathy, God bless you all!! -Laura Tarala

From the time I was small, I have always known that Clifford loved the Lord first and foremost. Then his family. He always told us how much he loved us. I will miss him so much but rejoice that he is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and with no more pain. I love you my brother, Clifford. Your Sis, Violet
