CLINTON HIX COLEMAN
GREENVILLE, SC Clinton Hix Coleman, 69, of 105 Emile St. died Friday, May 28, 2004, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Husband of Ann Graham Coleman, he was born in Travelers Rest a son of the late Joseph E. and Lillie Mae Styles Coleman. Mr. Coleman was an employee of John D. Hollingsworth prior to his retirement. He was a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church, the Senior Sunday School Class, and the Coasters Club. In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by a daughter, Karen C. Garrett and husband, Brian, of Easley; sons, Randy Coleman and wife, Cathy, of Easley and Gary Coleman and wife, Sharon, of Greenville; sisters, Bernice Black of Travelers Rest, SC and Mildred Wilson of Fountain Inn; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Wornelia Bennefield and four brothers, Kenneth, T.J., Ellis, and Calvin Coleman. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Tanglewood Baptist Church with burial at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at the residence. Memorials may be made to the Coasters Club of Tanglewood Baptist Church, 2801 Old Easley Bridge Rd., Greenville 29611.
