Danny Ray Simmons, 47, husband of the late Machelle Simmons, died Friday, September 3, 2021.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Danny Simmons, Sr. and Kathy Hufflin Simmons.

Danny was a Master Mason and a member of Southern Cruzer Chapter 313 Bike Club.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Corey Simmons; sisters, Sandy Simmons Parham and husband, Robert, and Stacey Clogston Potter and husband, Rusty; sister-in-law, Melissa McCoy; brother-in-law, Terry Bouvier; father-in-law, David Bouvier and wife, Lisa; seven nephews and four nieces.

A visitation will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. The funeral service will be Monday, September 13th at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
