Darlene Rae Tillema, 78, of Piedmont, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Born in Jasper City, IL, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lottie Ferrell Tillema.

Mrs. Tillema was a member of Edgewood Church Of Christ and a retired employee of Michelin Tire Corporation.

She is survived by her trusted friend and “brother”, Brian Chism; and many friends who will mourn her loss.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Tillema in 2016.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens in Piedmont.

Memorials may be made to Edgewood Church of Christ, 200 Edgewood Drive, Greenville, SC 29605.
