David Anderson Kay, II, 18, died Friday, February 15, 2013. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Gina Falkner of Spartanburg, and David Anderson Kay of Newnan, Ga. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one half-brother, Gabriel Kay of McCormick; a stepbrother, Garrett Blais of Charleston; three stepsisters, Staci Teeslink of Charleston, Alicia Teeslink of Simpsonville, and Morgan Blais of Newnan, Ga; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Kay Falkner of Villa Rica, Ga; paternal grandparents, Mark and Edna Catherwood Kay of Greenville; fiancé, Rachel Lee; an uncle Sanford Falkner, four cousins, Stephanie, Victoria, and Mitchell Falkner, and Erica Gentry. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown followed by a Visitation. A second Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013 at White Oak Baptist Church.
