Diana Stevens

Diana Stevens, 79, beloved wife of Arthur Stevens, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

She was born on March 31, 1944 in Greenville, SC, to the late Holland and Ruby Mason Ingle.

In her professional life, Diana was a Personnel Manager with both K-Mart and Walmart. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for her colleagues made her an invaluable asset to all who had the privilege of working alongside her. Diana also enjoyed making floral arrangements, decorating cakes, officiating weddings in her role as a Notary, and traveling.

While Diana’s departure leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her, her memory will forever be carried in their hearts. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Shirley Miller (Steve), JF Lucas (Lisa), Carolyn Kennedy (Mark), and James Lucas (Dee); stepchildren, Butch Moore(Jennifer), Pamela Mayes (Rick), and John Moore(Sherri); 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Diana is also survived by siblings, Gail Wittner (the late Wayne), Lee Ingle (Pat), Ann Farrand (Gary), and Frances Norris (Don).

Upon arrival in heaven, Diana was reunited with her late husband, Jake Lucas; whisked away to a heavenly birthday celebration for her daughter, Janet Rosemary Lucas; one sister, Shirley Vinson; and two brothers, Jack Ingle and Rick Ingle.

A visitation will be held on August 23, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast in Simpsonville followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
