Christopher Mace left a message on May 1, 2023:
I was a young man, relocating to what I consider a foreign land, (greenville), and I had no idea how I was going to survive. I was a young man with a new job, (Trooper) and was moving to a place I had rarely been. Everything was so overwhelming, there were times when I struggle to pay bills and have something to eat at the same time. Then, I had my first day in court, and I met your staff, and everyone was so friendly and inviting, however, then you walk around the corner with a huge smile and said “well hello there young man, I’m Judge Cagle“. From that day on, I felt like a part of your family, although time, for still hard, I didn’t even realize it, because you made me feel as if I had always belong there. From that day on, you made sure I always had everything I needed, especially someone to talk to during those times when I needed it the most. There’s no way I would’ve ever retired as a Trooper, if I hadn’t had you in my life. You have always meant the world to me, and you always will. I miss you more than anything, and no one will ever take your place. I love you with all of my heart. God bless Christopher

Allen, I have known your mom for many years. She was a wonderful friend and a wonderful mom to you. The time that I have been seeing her for the last year has been very moving. Seeing her as I visited my sister was special. The last time I spoke to her was to tell her that I loved her and she always repeated those words to me and threw me a kiss. I will never forget.
