Donald Charles Flaherty, 77, loving husband of Jenny Flaherty, of Greenville, died Friday, April 30, 2021.
Born in Binghamton, NY, he was a son of the late Donald and Betty Milks Flaherty.
A huge Tennessee Volunteers football fan, Donald loved his family, and they were the joy of his life. He served his country as a proud member of the United States Marines. He enjoyed fishing, antique cars, and attending car shows. He never met a stranger and always kept busy. Donald was an honorary member at Calvary Baptist Temple in East Bernstadt, KY.
In addition to his loving wife of 40 years, he is survived by his children, Keith Tucker (Dana) of Easley, Traci Fowler (Jessie) of Travelers Rest, Leslie Brewer of Greenville, Terri Perry (Tim) of East Bernstadt, KY, and Amy Billingsly (Chris) of Greenville; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two nephews, Mark and Jamie Butler; and half-sister, Colleen Rivera (Sam), NY.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
