Mr. Dean, my favorite resident that I got to care for. He kept me on my toes and always had me smiling. He would always pray for me. Leave me sweet notes on my med cart. Loved my son, as his grandson. Will miss him so much. My heart goes out to his family.

I am going to miss my buddy and our talks about sports and life. I met Don and Betty when they came to NHC. They were so sweet. I got closer with Don after Betty passed. I loved hearing stories about their life and the incredible things he got to do in his life. My condolences to Pastor Scott and Scottie from me and my wife. I sure will miss seeing him and talking about sports.

Bro. Don Dean was a wonderful man! He made a great impact on my life. We always loved him and appreciated him supporting us as young men playing basketball at Truth-Missionary Baptist Church. I was able to visit him and his wife from time to time when I worked for my grandfather, Pastor Sammy Kay. Don Dean will forever be a hero to me! Love the Dean family.

Don was a great friend, Don was my Supervisor at Dunean Mill, in the Engineering Department. When my mother was on her death bed, I showed up for work. He called me into his office and asked me what I was doing there. I told him I came to work. He said as long as your mother is in that hospital I don't want to see you, your place is by her side. So until my Mother went to glory I went to the hospital and was able to spend her last days by her side. Thank you Don. ...to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Cor. 5:8 I believe Betty will know who you are now!!!!! I'll meet you in the morning!!!
