Doris J. McClure

Doris J. McClure, 92, wife of the late Franklin "Frank" McClure, died Saturday, September 5, 2020.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Cromer and Lizzie Brockman James.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: John, Frank, Carroll, Ruth, Louise, Evelyn, Mary, and Sarah.

Mrs. McClure was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church. She was lovingly called Aunt Doris by all her nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McClure is survived by her daughters, Jean McClain and husband Gene, and Terri Harrah and husband Mike; granddaughters, Andrea Walker and husband Shane, and Brittany Lloyd; great-granddaughter Maggie Walker; and great-grandson Parker Lloyd.

Due to the recent CDC Covid-19 guidance limiting large assemblies, the family has chosen to have a private funeral service in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the staff at Carlyle Senior Living in Fountain Inn and Southern Regency Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
