Dorothy “Dot” LeRoy Couch

Dorothy “Dot” LeRoy Couch, 86, beloved wife of the late Billy Couch, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late H. Coleman and Minnie Turner LeRoy.

Dot was a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church. She loved to cook, tend to her flower garden, crochet, and sew clothes for others, however, spending time together with her family was her favorite pastime.

She is survived by daughters, Edith (Mark) Page, and LaVerne (Billy) Page; sons, Michael (Jill) Couch, Curtis (Debra) Couch, Mark (Kathy) Couch, and Brian Couch; 16 grandchildren, Gerald, Ashley, Travis, Wesley, Stephanie, Heather, Carrie, Jonathan, Tennille, Benjamin, Brandon, Zach, Miranda, Michael, Devon and Destiny; 40 great grandchildren; and sisters, Zelda Bishop, and Kathy (Mark) Couch.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Michelle Page; great-grandchildren, Zachary Miller, and Ella Grace Long; sister, Elaine Standard; and brother, J.W. “Ducky” LeRoy.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Tanglewood Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dot’s lady friends at Tanglewood Baptist Church and also to Cottingham Hospice for their special love and care.
