Mommy Dearest: I’ve been privileged to be your daughter-in-law for well over 50 years! The first time I met you at 17 was on 3 Smokescreek Dr. in OP, where you were having a water war with your sons! Not only were you using the garden hose, but you filled a bucket, and really made quite a splash racing after them like a raging bull!! I was like “what the heck is going on?!” Dinners at the house was a mad dash for the amazing meals like beef stroganoff, lazy pierogies, cioppino and chocolate cherry bars for dessert- a blend of Italian and Polish fare. Your own creation- the“egg a dots” for breakfast in Algonquin were amazing.. I remember everyone being done eating when I was only halfway through. Indeed, we loved our cabin, the poutine and watching the sunsets over Galeairy lake. The pontoon with grill bolted to the stern was perfect for hot dogs. Our times together for holidays, birthdays and reunions are cherished forever. Your 90th birthday coronation was ridiculously funny?. You were Our Queen with Janet by your side. Family gatherings, and our family stories will be carried forward such as Aunt Bertha’s traffic turning signals with her arm out the car window is a favorite. I’ll always think of you when I see butterflies ?, camellias ?, pink flamingos ? and hummingbirds ?. Your creativity and bright colors were mind-blowing . I loved your handle as “polka Dottie.” Your motivated love for us will be forever remembered. You & Dad are toasted today and always ?. We had so much fun and laughter in our family. Thank you!. We will make a special innishnook guiding your path to Heaven. I look forward to when I can see you and embrace you once again. With utmost respect and deepest love, Jody
