Dorothy “Dot” Harrison

Dorothy “Dot” Christian Harrison, 87, wife of the late David L Harrison, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Born in Jackson, MS, she was a daughter of the late Frank Della and Mary Watson Christian.

A graduate of the University of Chattanooga, Dot was a licensed real estate broker having worked in residential sales and property management. She owned The Harrison Company, Greenville, SC.

Dot was an active member of Christ Community Church in Simpsonville, SC and enjoyed time with family on their farm in Simpsonville as well as the mountains in Blowing Rock NC.

She is survived by three sons, Richard Lane Harrison (Virginia) of Greensboro, GA, Christian Lee Harrison of Greenville, SC, and Stephen Andrew Harrison (Lisa) of Simpsonville, SC; three grandchildren, William Hampton Harrison (Elizabeth) of Charlottesville, VA, Preston Mims Harrison (Haley) of Greenville, SC and Caroline Harrison Williams (Jim) of Hartsville, SC; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Christian Williams of Greenville, SC.

Dot was preceded in death by her son, David Douglas Harrison.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Christ Community Church, 700 Harrison Bridge Road, Simpsonville, SC, with a visitation and luncheon to follow.

Dot will be laid to rest in the Harrison Family Cemetery, 310a South Harrison Bridge Road, Simpsonville, SC

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Christ Community Church, 700 Harrison Bridge Road, Simpsonville, SC in lieu of flowers.
