Dr Robert Wood left a message on September 8, 2021:
What a great loss of a gifted compassionate surgeon whom I was honored to consider a good friend. I am presently recovering form a fortunately mild case of Covid, but am quarantined a few days more. Many grand times with Pat and Bob, sharing our western Pennsylvania heritage and both Alumni of the University of Pittsburgh. Sorry I have been out of touch since moving to Spartanburg 3 years ago ( moving back to Greenville soon) and was not aware Bob had been ill. My sincere heartfelt condolences to Kim, Kelly, and Bobby. A wonderful family, a legacy for a great man. Rob Wood

Lynn Hollingsworth left a message on September 3, 2021:
My heart is very heavy, but I know that Dr. Coles is in a better place and is rejoicing with the Angels. I have been a long-term patient of Dr. Coles for the past 15+ years. He was such a special person, he had a great passion for the work that he did, which really showed in the compassion that he had for his patients. He always took the time to sit and talk, not only about how you were doing but about everyday life. He will truly be missed beyond words. To his children and his siblings. May God hold each of you in his tender arms during this difficult time: 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Amen Dr. Lynn Hollingsworth DNP, FNP-BC

Please except my deepest condolences. Dr. Coles was a very special person. I enjoyed all the years I was able to serve the Cole family and the practice when I was at Drug Lo Pharmacy.

Dear Kelly, Kim and Bobby, we are so saddened at the news of your father’s passing. Certainly not for him because he is once again united with his beloved Pat. I know you miss them, but may you find comfort in knowing they are together once again. We were also saddened that we could not be there with you today. Jack and I are home resting and receiving our healing from cold/flu symptoms. Please know we are holding you all close in our hearts and prayers??

Kelly, Kim, Bobby, Your parents were not only our friends but also two of the finest people we were honored to have as friends. Their lives should be a light for you as you continue in their path. You were so lucky to have them as the example of love and friendship. May their memory be a blessing for you. Love, Charlotte and Charlie

I saw Dr. Coles twice back in 1996, when my mother was referred to him by our dentist. I remember that he and his assistant were kind and helpful to us. My sympathy to all the Family.
