Edwin H. Beaver III, 68, husband of Nina Beaver, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Born in Etowah, TN, he was the son of the late Edwin H. Beaver II and Chrystelle Davidson Beaver. "Beaver," a loving husband and father, retired from Bowater, Inc. of North America as a Corporate Vice President of Human Resources after 33 years of service. He enjoyed life. He enjoyed his family, friends, laughter and travel. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a sister, Malinda Burnette Sam; children, Josie Cutchin Holler David, Chrysti Beaver Noble Barry, Edwin H. "Boe" Beaver IV Kelly, Hunter Cutchin and Cayci Beaver Mahaffey Jessie; grandchildren, Carson Noble, Luke, Alli and Jake Beaver, and Stewart, Greyson and Owings Holler; and nephews, David and Drew Burnette. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral Building Fund or the needy fund, 406 N. Academy St., Greenville, SC 29601 or the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Rd., Suite 101, Greenville, SC 29615. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
