Dear Beth and Family,

I am so saddened to hear of your mother's passing.   I am Ray Henderson's daughter.  I tried to get in touch with Miss Lib several months back, but never managed to discover her location.  I used to try to send cards to mom's friends.   I am very sorry that I did not make the opportunity to visit with her again.  Mom and I used to go to lunch with Lib.  She was always such fun, a great character, and so full of happiness and joy.  What an amazing gardener and caretaker of her beautiful yard.  Mom and Lib would go on day trips. . . .  get in the car and ramble for hours.  I would love to have been a fly on the wall to hear those conversations!

If my mom could understand the significance of this event, she would be very sad.  She and Lib had known each other at Mauldin High School and graduated in the same class.  Please know how much mother valued your mother's friendship.  Miss LIb will be sorely missed.  My heart goes out to you and all your family.   I know you feel the weight of your loss.  Cherish each and every memory of loving and caring parents.  We have both been blessed with the best possible parents.  I am grateful for them every day, and I know you feel the same.  Take care, Beth.

Beth, so sorry to see of your mother's passing; our mothers shared the same name and your dad was my father's cousin.  They were lovely people and very special to my parents through the years.  Your pictures and memories will be even more special as the years go by; our thoughts and prayers are with you. . .
