Ellene Jordan Quinn

Ellene Jordan Quinn, 93, wife of the late Woodford S. Quinn, Sr., passed away November 24, 2021, at Open Arms Hospice House, Simpsonville, SC.

Born in Greenville, SC on October 28, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Reverend W. J. Jordan, Sr., and Lydia Minyard Jordan.

She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Spartanburg, SC.

Ellene was a graduate of Pelzer High School and Anderson Junior College. She worked at Indian Head Mills in Greenville, SC and Probate Judges Office in Columbiana, AL. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her son, Woody S. Quinn Jr.; daughter, Linda Cunningham and husband Randy; four grandchildren, Woody Quinn III and his wife Kelly, Courtnie Quinn Lindblad and her husband Adam, Ashley Cunningham Swanger, and Brannen Cunningham and his wife Jennifer; ten great grandchildren, Parker, Rachel, and Sarah Quinn, Jack, Clayton, Aubrey and Alice Lindblad, Wiley Swanger, and Quinn and Katie Cunningham; and sister, Martha Ann Pittman.

In addition to her parents, and loving husband of 72 years, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, W. J. Jordan, Jr., and Bobby Dan Jordan; and sister, Mary Ann Irvin.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 29, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Dr. Gene Lockaby will be officiating.
