Esther Irene Moore, 90, widow of Clyde Junior Moore, died Saturday, June 26, 2021.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late William N. and Lonnie Sullens Grant.
She was the owner and operator of Moore’s Amoco and Jimmy’s Drive Thru, which was the first drive-thru in Greenville, and C.J. Moore and Son Moving. Mrs. Moore was a former Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #82 Monaghan and a volunteer of Shriner’s Hospital for Children for 52 years.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy Moore; grandson, Jay (Anna) Moore; grand-daughter, Julie (Hal) Stewart; great-grandson, Trey Stewart; and great-granddaughters, Jordan Stewart, Savannah Moore, and Hallie Stewart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Tom Grant and Miles Grant; and sister, Sallie Greer.
The Graveside Service will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
