FLOYD MADISON BAKER
PELZER, SC Floyd Madison Baker, husband of Deborah Hooper Baker, of 326 Burgess School Road died Monday, May 24, 2004. Born in Lillington, NC, he was a son of Sally Edna Bowden Baker and the late Eugene Baker. Mr. Baker, a US Navy veteran, was owner of Baker Carpets and attended New Life Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters, Tammy Baker of Hendersonville, TN, Jeannie Brown and husband, Hilliard, of Easley and Joan Young and husband, Jeff, of Gallatin, TN; a son, Chris F. Baker of Pelzer; five grandchildren, Brandon Janco, Victoria and Bill Brown III, Chelsea and Sydney Young; a very special friend, Clifton Conner, of Pelzer; four sisters; and four brothers. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
