Gene Milton Foster, 87, of Greenville husband of Gail Foster, died Monday, October 25, 2021.
Born in Marietta, SC, he was the son of the late Vardry and Minnie Foster Foster.
Gene was a member of City View First Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his yard. His greatest joy and love was being with his family.
In addition to his beloved wife of 63 years, Gene is survived by son, Jason Foster (Heather); twin sister, Joanne Vess; grandchildren, Ashyn Foster, Abigail Smith, Hannah Carmichael, and Colby Foster; three great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Brent Foster; and eight brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with a graveside service following at 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Memorial Cemetery, Travelers Rest, SC.
