George Houston Jelliff III

George Houston Jelliff, III, 84, of 2669 Dacusville Hwy, died Monday, October 04, 2004. Born in New Canaan, CT, he was the son of the late George Houston and Florence Weber Jelliff. Mr. Jelliff was the owner of Jelliff Mill, CT. He was a member of the Gideons for 36 years and was a member of Hampton Park Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Jelliff, of the home; two daughters, Arla Fowler and husband Colin of Easley and Lois Harris of Laurens; two sons, Alan Jelliff and wife Karen of Dalton, GA and David Jelliff and wife Debbie of New York; and ten grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:30 ? 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 771, Greenville, SC 29602 or Hampton Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 875 State Park Road, Greenville, SC 29609. The family is at the residence.
