George and family, I am so saddened to hear about Jack and Evelyn. I wanted to be there today and support you and your Mom, sweet Mrs Evelyn, but I was sleeping/working. Then mom (Margaret Chapman) called me at work tonight and told me Mrs Evelyn died on Tuesday. I was so shocked but I know she was lost without your dad. They were the perfect couple and I always loved to watch them together, their love was evident to everyone. I have so many memories of them from Judson Baptist Church. My prayers are with you, Leah and the family during these days to come. May God give you peace that passess all understanding. Love, Yvonne

My heart felt condolences on losing Jack and now Evelyn. I cannot begin to express how much this hurts. But you know they are now happy together. 73 years, wow. But having known them for over 30 years, you see how much love they have for each other. I love them both dearly. Jack was more than a friend. To just sit and talk was a gift. He was my mentor. Fun to be with, I appreciate the years we went to the Masters, memories. Evelyn was a classy lady, sweet is the short inadequate description. Both were true Christians, they lived their faith completely from the heart. God has two Angels. Jack has his "Sugg". Love in their eyes told you how important they were for and to each other in their daily living. We will all miss them. I appreciate them and look forward to seeing them again. God's Blessings and Heart Hugs to them and all who loved them.
