Hazel McCarter Bryant, 76, of 6 So. Franklin Road, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Scott and Bessie Barnes McCarter, and wife of the late Boyce ?Boots? Bryant. She was a homemaker, and a member of Leawood Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and their husbands: Donna and Don Medcalf, and Debra and James Saunders, all of Greenville; a sister, Betty Joyce Phillips of Mauldin; a brother, Thomas McCarter of Duncan; 3 grandchildren: Heather Roach, Jeremy Jones and Bethany Jones; and 5 great-grandchildren; she was predeceased by a sister and brother, Peggy McCarter Owens and Leonard Scott McCarter. Graveside Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2004 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2004 at Thomas Mcafee Funeral Home, Downtown. Family: at residence.
